Privacy Policy and Industrial Data Handling

iGromi protects the privacy of its customers' industrial processes (B2B). On the Enterprise plan, iGromi OS is built on a "Local-First" architecture. This means that your plant's raw operational data (such as sensor records (Modbus/OPC-UA), machine vision counts, PLC telemetry, line speeds and machine states) is processed, computed and stored EXCLUSIVELY on premises, inside the hardware installed at your site (iGromi Edge or the customer's own on-premise servers).

iGromi SpA HAS NO ACCESS BY DEFAULT to your factory's production data and does not covertly extract it to external servers.

Data is only transmitted to iGromi's cloud infrastructure (or AWS/Azure servers managed by us) if the Customer explicitly contracts and enables cloud replication or remote access.

All outbound telemetry travels strongly encrypted using military-grade protocols (WireGuard tunnels, TLS 1.3, MQTT over SSL/WSS). The system is designed to make outbound-only connections, removing the need to open dangerous inbound ports in the company's IT/OT firewall.

Unlike mass-market consumer AI solutions, the Artificial Intelligence models (neural networks, computer vision, NLP) built into iGromi Edge and the iGromi Cam series perform processing, or "inference", 100% offline using the hardware's local NPUs or GPUs.

Images of your products, operators' faces, plant audio or telemetry data ARE NOT SENT to third-party servers (such as OpenAI, Google Cloud or AWS AI) for processing or response generation. The system is designed so that the industrial know-how and trade secrets captured by cameras or microphones do not leave your plant.

Information entered on the public website, quote forms, sales chatbots or when creating administrator accounts in the Customer Portal (names, corporate emails, job titles, company names and phone numbers) will be stored on our servers (CRM) and used exclusively for the business relationship (B2B), billing, direct technical support and sending critical security patches or operating system updates.

iGromi does not sell, rent or trade its customers' databases with third parties under any circumstances.

Free: in the iGromi cloud, separated by company. Premium: in a dedicated, isolated cloud for each customer. Enterprise: inside the plant, on Edge or on-premise, as described in sections 1 to 3.

On every plan the data belongs to the Customer. The Edge reads plant equipment in read-only mode: it does not write to PLCs or modify their parameters.
