Yes, absolutely. iGromi OS follows a 'Local-First' architecture. All processing, data storage, and control logic happens on the Edge device inside your plant. If the internet goes down, your local dashboards keep working and data is saved in an internal buffer until connection is restored. Remote accesses for managers via VM recover when the connection returns. Plant operations are not interrupted under any circumstances.

No. iGromi OS is designed for 'Retrofitting'. We connect to your existing PLCs (Siemens S7, Allen-Bradley, Modbus RTU) via their communication ports or using non-invasive parallel sensors. We modernize your machinery without touching its critical programming.

iGromi OS is hardware agnostic. It can run on x86/ARM industrial gateways, Raspberry Pi (for pilots), or rack servers. We natively support protocols like Modbus TCP/RTU, OPC-UA, Ethernet/IP, BACnet, and more.

Unlike traditional SCADA systems that charge per 'Tag' (variable), we charge per 'Node' (Edge Device). You can have unlimited tags inside that node. This makes the cost predictable and scalable.

Security is a priority. iGromi OS includes a firewall configured by default, supports WireGuard VPN for secure remote access, and does not require opening incoming ports on your router. Additionally, it physically separates the OT network (machines) from the IT network (office) if you use hardware with dual Ethernet ports.
