Frequently asked questions
Can it teach a safe work procedure?
Yes, it is the most direct use: the safe work procedure your team already approved becomes a short course with video and activities, and the assistant answers questions citing the section of the document. The supervisor sees who completed it before starting the task.
What is LUMYA?
It is iGromi's training and induction platform for plants and sites. It turns your approved procedures into courses with video, activities and an assistant that answers citing the source. It is currently in pilot.
Where do the videos come from?
The AI writes the script scene by scene from the documents your team approved, and the video is built from animated scenes with voice-over. A person reviews the script before publishing, and can recreate any scene or replace it with their own video.
Can the AI make up an answer?
The assistant only uses approved documents and cites the section each answer comes from. If it finds no support, it does not answer from memory: it routes the question to a person.
Which activity types does it have?
Eight: question tests, decision making, ordering steps, on-screen hotspots, matching pairs, sorting into bins, a branching episode and building the process. They are graded on the server and have no timer.
Which languages does it support?
Spanish, English and Portuguese.
Where do documents and progress live?
Each company has its own LUMYA installation: its documents, courses and people's progress are never mixed with another company's.
Can I run a live session?
Yes. The trainer streams from the browser with their camera, and participants watch it inside LUMYA.
