Industrial AI Companies in Chile: 2026 Comparison

Seven companies offering artificial intelligence for plants in Chile, compared by what they do, where the data comes from and where it runs. Checked on their official websites in November 2026.

Industrial AI Companies in Chile: 2026 Comparison

In Chile, "industrial AI" groups together companies that do very different things: maintenance software, energy and refrigeration telemetry, machine vision on cameras, data consulting and reader integration. Comparing them in a single list without saying so confuses more than it helps. This comparison organizes seven companies that state they operate in Chile by what they do, where they get the data and where it runs, so you can choose by the problem you actually have.

How it was done: each company was checked on its official website on November 1, 2026 and is described using what it says about itself, with a link to the source. We do not include anyone's prices, iGromi's included. iGromi is on the list because it is one of the options and because we wrote this page: read it with that in mind. If you first want to know what it is and where it applies, start with the guide to industrial artificial intelligence.

Which industrial AI companies operate in Chile? #

What criteria should you compare on? #

Five questions separate these vendors better than any label:

  • What problem does it solve? Maintenance, energy, quality, counting or scattered data. A company that is good at one may have nothing for another.
  • Where does the data come from? From sensors the vendor installs, from cameras that already exist, from the PLC or from what someone writes down.
  • Where does it run? In the vendor's cloud or inside the plant. If the video or data cannot leave, this criterion rules options out.
  • Does it integrate with what you have? ERP, SCADA, PLC or spreadsheets. Ask about the specific system, not about "integrations".
  • Does it have verifiable cases? A named customer and a figure measured against a reference are worth more than a showroom percentage.

What does Fracttal offer? #

Fracttal presents itself as an AI-powered CMMS: asset management, work orders and inventory in the cloud, with AI agents and IoT monitoring to anticipate failures. According to its contact page, it has an office in Las Condes and headquarters in Madrid; its history says it was founded in Santiago in 2015. It says it has more than 1,500 customer companies in more than 60 countries.

It makes sense if the problem is getting maintenance in order: plans, work orders, spare parts and history per asset. If you are comparing maintenance software, the guide to evaluating a CMMS includes a matrix with criteria and weights.

What does Energetika offer? #

Energetika connects plants, mining sites and retail locations to its Iotify platform to monitor energy, refrigeration, fire, water and gases in real time, with alerts and 24/7 support. It says it has operated since 2018 with sites from Arica to Punta Arenas, and it publishes guides by physical variable.

It makes sense if you need telemetry from many spread-out sites, such as cold chains or retail locations, and want a single dashboard with alerts.

What do NexInData and VayGo offer? #

Both work with machine vision on video. NexInData says it turns industrial video into data on productivity, downtime, flow and utilization, using cameras that already exist. VayGo offers image analysis for quality, logistics, PPE and unit counting, compatible with existing IP cameras, with a 14- to 30-day operational pilot and support in Chile.

They make sense if the data you are missing is in view of a camera. Ask for a named case and what reference the accuracy was measured against.

What does AIMIND offer? #

AIMIND describes itself as a Chilean company for data, business intelligence, custom software and AI applied to industrial operations, with 10 years of experience and its own diagnostic methodology. It starts from the process and the data the company already has before building anything.

It makes sense if the problem is that the data exists but is scattered across systems and spreadsheets, and you need dashboards, reports or a custom tool.

What does Diprotec offer? #

Diprotec integrates auto-identification with barcodes and RFID, points of sale, traceability and inventory, with more than 20 years of experience. In intelligent vision it offers machine vision and fixed scanning for manufacturing and distribution.

It makes sense if you need to identify and track products with labels, readers or inspection along the supply chain.

What does iGromi do differently? #

iGromi is a production accounting company, not a quality inspection company: it measures how much came in, how much went out, with how many people and how much energy, using what the plant already has. An industrial computer inside the plant reads the existing security cameras and the PLC in read-only mode on the same unit, and keeps measuring without internet. The video does not leave the plant; the counts do.

In production today: egg counting at Grupo Proa on 19 cameras that were already there, across six farms, at 99 % measured against manual counting and integrated with SAP; IQF temperature at Ditzler, verified against a reference standard; and energy and water per panel at Premium.

What it does not do: it is not a full CMMS like Fracttal, it is not a BI consultancy and it does not promise to detect defects without a labeled image set of your product. It makes sense if the count does not match the ERP, or if the plant already has cameras and PLCs but nobody brings that data together. How counting works is explained in production counting with existing cameras.

Who is not on this list? #

We did not include the large global automation manufacturers or international platforms whose website does not show an office or operation in Chile as of November 1, 2026. Nor companies whose website could not be checked that day. If your company offers industrial AI in Chile and wants to be listed, write to us with a link to your official website.

How to choose #

  • Do you know which number you are missing? Write it down before the first meeting: "units per shift", "kWh per panel", "hours of downtime". The right vendor is the one that measures that number.
  • Do you already have cameras, PLCs or sensors? Ask whether the vendor uses them or requires installing its own.
  • Can the data leave the plant? If not, rule out anything that only runs in the cloud.
  • How will success be measured? Agree on a reference, such as manual counting or a shipping document, and a pilot timeframe.
  • Who decides with the data? AI can propose; a person has to approve, and that approval has to be recorded.

Frequently asked questions #

Which companies offer industrial artificial intelligence in Chile?

Among those that state on their official website that they operate in Chile, as of November 1, 2026: Fracttal, Energetika, NexInData, VayGo, AIMIND, Diprotec and iGromi. They do different things: choose by the problem, not by the label.

What is the best industrial AI company in Chile?

There is no single best one for every plant. If the problem is maintenance, a CMMS; if it is energy or refrigeration, telemetry; if it is knowing how much was produced, counting with cameras or sensors; if it is organizing scattered data, a data consultancy.

How much does an industrial AI project cost?

It depends on the scope: lines, cameras, sensors and systems to integrate. Most quote per project. Ask for a tightly scoped pilot with a success figure agreed before starting.

Can AI be used with the cameras the plant already has?

Yes, if the camera delivers video over the network and sees the point that needs to be measured. NexInData, VayGo and iGromi state that they work with existing cameras; at iGromi it is in production at Grupo Proa.

Does plant data have to go to the cloud?

Not always. Some vendors work in the cloud and others process inside the plant. Ask before requesting a quote. More on this in safe industrial AI.
