Industries · Agribusiness and animal protein

Agribusiness and animal protein counted and measured the same day.

We count eggs with the cameras you already have, record cold chain and incubation, and measure water and energy in the process plant. Every data point reaches SAP and the app with its source.

How it looks today

The data arrives a week late.

It is counted by hand, typed into a spreadsheet and cross-checked with flock age, genetics and feed. By the time the report arrives, the decision it suggested can no longer be made.

What we measure

From the farm to the cold tunnel, in one flow.

Each point hands its data to the Edge in the plant. From there it goes to SAP and the app, with the source of every number.

  • The Edge reads the PLC read-only.
  • If the internet drops, the plant keeps measuring.

01 · Poultry · Grupo Proa

17 manual counting points, now camera-based.

The security cameras already in the farms count eggs on the conveyor. The count reaches SAP in real time.

  • No controlled lighting or special camera.
  • Processed in the plant: the video never leaves.

02 · Incubation

Every incubator, every 15 minutes.

Incubator temperature is recorded without anyone walking by with a clipboard. If it leaves the band, it shows right away.

03 · IQF cold chain · Ditzler

A cold-chain record you can audit.

Probes in the IQF tunnel and room record continuously. Compared against a reference calibrator at the same point, the sensor differed by 0.0 °C in operation.

  • Online history, exportable, with email reports.
  • Alert if a sensor stops reporting.

04 · Water and energy · Premium

Plant consumption, per panel and per firing.

At the liquid egg plant we measure energy per panel, water flow and every boiler firing. Power factor dropped to 0.70, below the 0.93 the standard requires.

  • The wastewater plant PLC, read-only.
  • Next step: kWh and water per unit produced.

06 · Aquaculture and salmon farming

Dissolved oxygen and feed conversion, in the site conversation.

This is how the app would look at a fish farm: the Orchestrator reads the probes, explains and proposes; the site manager decides. It never changes feeding on its own.

  1. iGromi app in salmon farming: low dissolved oxygen alert in pens with a proposal awaiting approval

    Site manager · 06:40

    Low oxygen, with approval

Dissolved oxygen below the minimum in three pens. It proposes cutting the ration until it recovers, and waits for the site manager to allow it.

  2. iGromi app: feed conversion ratio (FCR) analysis for a fish farm with its causes

    Analyst

    Why FCR went up

Feed conversion ratio explained by its causes: oxygen, diet change and mortality, each with its source.

  3. iGromi app: the manager asks whether the aquafeed plant will meet its orders

    Manager

    Will we meet the orders?

Orders, warehouse and the feed plant production plan in one answer, with the risk per line and what to move.

How it looks in the app · Poultry production

Poultry production, shift by shift.

Each farm role gets its own assistant: the house operator sees their to-dos, and the administrator decides what each one tracks and tailors it to the farm without losing updates.

  1. iGromi app: house shift to-dos on a poultry farm

    House operator

    Overdue first

The silo with no signal, today's mortality and what the supervisor asked. What the Orchestrator suggests waits for someone to accept it.

  2. iGromi app: farm assistants by role: house, silos, analyst and finance

    Administrator

    One assistant per role

House operator, silo keeper, analyst and finance: each with its capabilities and the people it supports.

  3. iGromi app: house operator assistant profile with its capabilities

    Assistant profile

What it tracks and for whom

Mortality, collection, line incidents and house temperature, for the six people on shift.

  4. iGromi app: tailoring the daily mortality duty for this farm only

    Your own tweak

    Tailored to your farm

Mortality before 09:00, alerting the supervisor, with one more question. The tweak is kept when the assistant updates.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How is cold-room temperature monitored?
With sensors in each room, tunnel or incubator that record on their own and alert when temperature goes out of range. What matters is verifying them: in Ditzler's IQF tunnel the reading was compared against a reference, with a 0.05 °C difference.
Do I need new cameras to count?
Not necessarily. At Grupo Proa counting runs on 19 security cameras that were already installed, with no controlled lighting or special camera.
Does the video leave the plant?
No. It is processed in the plant and what leaves is the count, not the video.
How accurate is egg counting?
At Grupo Proa, 99% measured against manual counting and validated with the client, in production since 2024.
Do you count salmon or pigs?
It is in demo, with the same vision counting engine used in poultry. It is not yet in production with a client.
How often is temperature recorded?
It depends on the point: on Grupo Proa's incubators, every 15 minutes; on Ditzler's IQF tunnel, the module samples once per second.
Does it work for salmon farming and aquaculture?
Salmon counting is in demo and the fish farm conversation (dissolved oxygen, feed conversion ratio) is shown with sample data. There is no fish farm in production with iGromi yet.
Does the AI change feeding if dissolved oxygen drops?
No. It proposes, for example, cutting the ration until oxygen recovers, cites the probes and the protocol, and waits for the site manager to allow it.
Do you measure irrigation or field water?
We do not offer an irrigation solution today. We measure water and energy inside the process plant, as at Premium.
